The ISN takes a strong interest in mentoring young scientists. To this end, a new focus group of young investigators, including those from under-represented groups, will be convened at the Congress to brainstorm about new possibilities and provide feedback concerning our existing efforts to recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse membership in ISN; participants will be recruited through the ISN email list, personal emails and personal contacts. We will continue informal mentoring sessions during lunches throughout the congress. Students, postdoctoral researchers, and assistant professors will be sent a link that will let them to sign up to discuss diverse topics with more senior attendees.
