The ICN conference organizers are paying close attention to the COVID-19 pandemic and will adopt all the necessary protective measures to guarantee the safety of meeting attendees. Safety guidelines will be followed in accordance with the evolution of the pandemic and current guidance provided by national authorities. For more information, please visit the Portuguese Directorate-General Health WEBSITE » and check HERE » the updated conditions implemented in Portugal, useful for foreign visitors.

Currently, entry into Portugal no longer requires proof of full vaccination, recovery or negative COVID-19 test. Thus, proof of vaccination will not be required to meeting participants.

Masks are only mandatory in health facilities, public transport, taxis and similar passenger transport. However, although the use of masks is no longer mandatory, for your own safety, and for the safety of others we recommend the use of masks inside the lecture halls and during the poster sessions.

For those attendees that require a pre-flight COVID-19 test in Portugal prior to their departure home, this is available at several locations, such as at Lisbon International Airport (where booking in advance is recommended).
