For participants bringing families, day-by-day tourist information and information on local day care and baby-sitting options will be provided. One afternoon in the middle of the Congress is designated as open time for delegates and family members to explore the local area. A number of excursions and experience-Portugal trips are also in planning and we expect that all participants will utilize such times to visit the many free historical, natural history, scientific and artistic sites in the area. The opening ceremonies on the first night will be a “Traditional Welcome” which includes a program set up by the local organizing committee.
